Former Mayor Steve Arnold endorses Reigstad for Common Council
FITCHBURG, Wis. – Former Fitchburg Mayor Steve Arnold has announced his endorsement of Logan Reigstad to represent District 3 on the Common Council.
“I met Logan when he joined the Transportation and Transit Commission, where he contributes as a driver, transit commuter, and bicycle rider,” Steve says. “He is smart, prepares thoroughly, and always has good ideas about the issues at hand. He’s exactly the kind of resident I want working on the broad range of issues the Council must handle.”
Arnold, who served for a decade on the Common Council before being sworn in as mayor in 2015, is a dedicated and passionate advocate for the city. His work while in office and in the years since has prioritized sustainable quality of life and sound fiscal management. As a member of Bike Fitchburg, he’s worked to make walking and bike safer and easier throughout Fitchburg.
“Steve’s commitment to making Fitchburg a better place is obvious, and he is willing to ask the tough questions that lead us to better outcomes,” Logan says. “I’m incredibly honored to have the support of someone whose future-focused vision has prepared our city to tackle the challenges ahead.”
